Kelleys Island, Ohio

Kelleys Island, Ohio is a beautiful island located in the western basin of Lake Erie.  It sits approximately four miles north of Marblehead and about twelve miles from Sandusky.  These are both cities on the mainland.  It is the largest U.S. island in Lake Erie, with Pelee Island Canada to the north being larger.

Ferry service to Kelleys Island for vehicles and passengers is limited to service from the Kelleys Island Ferry at Marblehead.  Passenger only service is available from other providers with the Jet Express providing regular service from the Port Clinton and Sandusky on the mainland as well as Put-in-Bay on South Bass Island.

Kelleys Island home owners enjoy being just a short drive from Toledo, Columbus, and Cleveland.  Sandusky’s tourist destinations are just a short trip away by boat or ferry, and Canada is easily accessible by boat.  They also have a paved airstrip on the island and there is regular service from the Erie-Ottawa International Airport in Port Clinton.
